Go to <b><i>\u2018Apple\u2019<\/i><\/b> \u2013&gt; \u2018<b><i>System Preferences\u2019<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image002.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image002\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image002\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image002_thumb.jpg\" width=\"214\" height=\"218\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Select \u2018<b><i>Network<\/i><\/b>\u2018 from system preferences<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image003.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image003\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image003\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image003_thumb.jpg\" width=\"214\" height=\"244\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. In <b><i>\u2018Network<\/i><\/b>\u2018 system preferences, click the <b><i>\u2018+<\/i><\/b>\u2018 icon on the bottom left cover of window to make a new VPN Conection.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image005.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image005\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image005\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image005_thumb.jpg\" width=\"354\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. As shown in the image below, a new window appears. Click on the <b><i>\u2018Interface\u2019<\/i><\/b> menu and see the list of choices and select <b><i>\u2018VPN\u2019<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image007.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image007\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image007\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image007_thumb.jpg\" width=\"359\" height=\"287\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>5. Next, Change the <b><i>\u2018VPN type<\/i><\/b>\u2018 from <b><i>\u2018L2TP over IPSec\u2019<\/i><\/b> to&#160; <b><i>\u2018PPTP<\/i><\/b>\u2018. And then In the <b><i>\u2018Service Name\u2019<\/i><\/b> field, type in <b><i>\u2018VPN Office\u2019<\/i><\/b> or <b><i>\u2018Company Name VPN\u2019<\/i><\/b> or make one up. Once you have done, Click on <b><i>\u2018Create\u2019<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image009.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image009\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image009\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image009_thumb.jpg\" width=\"374\" height=\"298\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>6. Next, we need to make a configuration. Select the <b><i>\u2018Confguration\u2019<\/i><\/b> drop menu and select <b><i>\u2018Add Configuration\u2019<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image011\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image011\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image011_thumb.jpg\" width=\"380\" height=\"303\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>7. A window will pop up, asking to name your new configuration. Type you <b><i>\u2018Company Name VPN\u2019<\/i><\/b> here and then click <b><i>\u2018create\u2019<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image013\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image013\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image013_thumb.jpg\" width=\"344\" height=\"276\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>8. Next, enter in your company\u2019s <i>\u2018Server Address\u2019<\/i> example; <b><i>\u2018server.domain.com\u2019<\/i><\/b> <em><strong>or \u201872.14.213.x\u2019<\/strong><\/em> and <b><i>\u2018Username\u2019<\/i><\/b>, for example <b><i>\u2018administrator\u2019<\/i><\/b> or <b><i>\u2018LarryHolmes\u2019 or what ever<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image015.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image015\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image015\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image015_thumb.jpg\" width=\"293\" height=\"233\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>9. Next, Click on the <b><i>\u2018Advanced\u2019<\/i><\/b> Button<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image021.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image021\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image021\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image021_thumb.jpg\" width=\"131\" height=\"51\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>12. <u>Make sure that <b><i>\u2018Send all traffic over VPN Connection\u2019<\/i><\/b> is <b>unticked<\/b>. Then Click <b><i>\u2018OK\u2019<\/i><\/b><\/u><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image023.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"clip_image023\" border=\"0\" alt=\"clip_image023\" src=\"https:\/\/mikemartinezonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/clip_image023_thumb.jpg\" width=\"326\" height=\"256\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>14.
